A Final Look at 2009
2009 was a good year…a great year. In fact, we must have had so much fun, that most of it seems like a blur. However, the one thing that stands out in my mind is that Jeremy and I got married after 16 months of planning – what were we thinking! In case you missed it, all of the pictures are posted here: We had the wedding of our dreams (even though it was a little cold outside), surrounded by all of our friends and family.

Then, we honeymooned in St. Maarten! October is considered off-season, and therefore, it felt like we had the whole island to ourselves. We can’t wait to travel some more before we have children in a few years. Once we were back from our honeymoon, I got the photography bug. I bought the Canon Digital Rebel XSi and effectively annoyed our families by keeping the camera in their faces. I figure that one of these days, they’ll thank me for capturing those precious moments (at least that’s my hope). Here’s a bunch of my favorites from Thanksgiving/Christmas 2009.

I can’t wait to see what 2010 has in store for us. I do know that in the coming year, I’ll have my camera ready to capture it all.

OK, your first post deserves a comment! Awesome photos and such a beautiful family. ♥

Oh yeah, I 2nd Betty Jo…so here’s comment numero dos!! :-) Seriously…you were great from the beginning, weren’t you? Why do you think I took off my “archives” tab – hee! Hugs to you my friend! :-)

Oh my Gosh! Ashley, you’ve come so far!!!! Love the pics of family, but you can really tell you’ve really made leaps and bounds of progress in photography! You’re an amazing photographer now and were pretty good then. Thanks for sharing!

I had to come and have a sticky beak =D Hopefully when I’ve been blogging for a year I will have come as far as you (though these pics are already great, love the tree!)
