I’m excited to link up with The Bonnie 5 for Touch-Up Tuesday. You guys know I love Before & After posts, so this (along with Pixel Perfect’s Before and After) will allow me a forum for delivering these types of posts. Bonnie joked with me last week that although she’s excited that I’m joining, that everyone will wonder why I’m not hosting this challenge myself. One day…Anyways, this is Stella. You may remember her from this post. She is now 3 months old, and I’m finally ready to present this Before & After. Not that it was that much of a...

Faith, over at Simplicity, sent me an email last week. To tell me that I won last week’s challenge: REST. To ask if I would be a guest mentor during her Summer Photography Class. Can I just tell you that she made my week, my month, my year with those two things. I heart you Faith! I’d just gotten my DSLR the month prior, so this shot was likely captured in AUTO. Furthermore, now that I know better, the pin lights are kinda disturbing. Nonetheless, I love...

This week’s In a Yellow House theme is Water. Last week, for You Capture‘s photo challenge (which was also water) , I shared a photo I took of a leaf right after a rain storm. This week, I thought I’d share another photo from my “photo shoot” at the Rose Garden. This is Nicholas, and he loves the pond…in fact, I only wish I’d captured the moment where he was dipping his feet in the pond (yeah, Mommy brought a change of clothes, but not a change of shoes). He rarely looked at me, but I love this sweet moment where he’s gotten brave enough to...
