Simplicity: Color

Yesterday was a busy day for photo challenges, so I didn’t have a chance to post my photo for the Simplicity Challenge: Color. Actually, when Faith posted the challenge yesterday, I immediately thought of the mini-pinwheel that sits in our kitchen…so, I wanted to wait until I could get the shot.When I got home from work, I pulled out my tripod…went upstairs…turned on the fan…and started snapping. Touch-Up Tuesday: Sweet Sister

My “sweet sister” came to visit us this weekend. While we were at the pool, I thought about Skinned Knees and remembered that I needed to take a “splash” photo. I yell out to my sister, “Hey Jamie, why don’t you make a splash.” She doesn’t even bat an eye and starts throwing her arms up in the air, splashing around. I mentioned that this weekend we went to see some live music at a local Irish pub. Our friend, Adam, said that we had to see Lonnie Walker.
