Happy Halloween! For those of you that trick-or-treated last night…I hope you had fun and for those of you that will be doing your trick-or-treating tonight, I hope you have a fun and safe time. Either way, it’s that time again…Scavenger Hunt Sunday. So, if you’ve been participating in the Scavenger Hunt each week, I hope this week’s items inspired you. If you’re new to the Scavenger Hunt…WELCOME!
- Anyone can participate.
- You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge.
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
- Have fun!
So, without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:
1. My Town
It might have been more interesting to share a picture of Downtown or a more popular landmark, but this is an intersection I visit nearly every day on my way home from the gym. I was playing around with my lensbaby for this shot.
2. Something Vintage
My mom collects vintage/antique baby furniture (she owns a Children’s boutique, so it’s only appropriate). Yesterday, I was visiting her shop when I realized that this particular cradle would be perfect for “something vintage.” It’s also perfect for my first Scripture and a Snapshot entry.
3. Tilt-Shift

I took this shot while driving home on Friday afternoon (I did slow down, almost to a stop – I would not recommend anyone trying this). This is actually my favorite part about my drive home…this little stretch of road. The sun was shining and the leaves looked beautiful.
4. Dress Up
Most of you will probably share a picture of you or your children dressed up for Halloween, but I realize that a number of people don’t celebrate Halloween…thus the reason I changed this item to “dress up.” I felt rather “dressed up” with this necklace I wore the other day to work. I love the colors.
To celebrate Halloween, I bought some M&Ms and Reese Cups the other day. Then, it was only a matter of creating an interesting composition. So, we have this really neat pewter bowl on our kitchen table…I threw in some M&Ms and started shooting. I kinda like the reflection that was created.
