This week our theme or prompt is “pink" (this is just a suggestion, you can show us any SOOC shot) - how appropriate for today! You have until Wednesday each week to link your SOOC shot up on Jill's blog. On Thursday, you can link up your edits with ME after following some of my tips on how to edit your shots (or just post your edit on Thursday and you can pick up my tips for next week).
I know that you're probably getting tired of seeing pictures of Caroline but she's a great model for some of the lessons I'll be teaching this week. Here is my SOOC:
This week, I'm really going to step it up a notch (for some of you). We're going to discuss facial retouching and using actions to speed up the process. As much as I'd like to say that I perform every step manually, the reality is that actions can be a photographer's best friend in processing. I know how to soften skin the "long way", but boy, do actions make it so much simple!! Actually, Coffeeshop Rita has and amazing free skin retouching action called powder room. I use it all the time and believe it or not, I often prefer it to MCP's!

She is a doll, how could you not want to reuse her as a model :) I totally should donate a pic or two from the shoot I did at the zoo this weekend. I messed up and left my aperture too open and there are some super cute shots that ended up WAAAAY to bright. I tried to fix them (without PS since I don't have it) and they are "meh". I'm not 100% convinced they are unfixable.
