Relevant!

Several weeks ago, I remember sitting in an HR conference during the afternoon key note message. The speaker was a petite woman with blond hair and a BIG voice…a big voice that offended a lot of people (that’s another story for another time), but she had a good message. The one that really stuck with me was “BE RELEVANT!”I was reminded of being relevant during last week’s church message in which we discussed the value of relevance and effectiveness. Of course, we can’t talk about relevance or effectiveness without talking about how relevant GOD is....

Last Night…

I met up with Laura, Sammy, John (Laura’s brother) and Casey for dinner. Even though it was my first time meeting up with Laura (and only my second time meeting up with Casey), the five us got along like old friends. If only all of my blogging buddies lived in the Raleigh/Durham area…that’d be awesome! Believe it or not, we didn’t take many pictures, but I did manage to get a few of Sammy…and then John was so great to capture just the girls (with Sammy of course). I think I caught him off guard with my high speed continuous shutter…his face was priceless....
