This past Friday, I met up with one of my favorite families to capture this year’s highly coveted Christmas card photo. Last week, I was with one of my clients (non-photography related) when we started talking about the collection of information. I work in an industry where collecting data from the field is critical to projecting accurate numbers in the office. One of the guys described what that process looks like…and I think it applies to thankfulness. Imagine you’re standing at the top of a hill. I’m one of those people that like my holidays one at a time…so as soon as Thanksgiving was behind us, I was ready to decorate our house for the holidays. Kitty Paw wasn’t so excited…at first. Decorating means lots of moving boxes, open and closed doors…and of course, the vacuum cleaner (courtesy of my neat freak husband). However, once everything was in place, she quickly found her favorite spot under the Christmas tree – it’s her favorite. This is just the first of many reasons that I love this time of year.
