Shoot and Edit: Week 45 – Family SOOC
Welcome to the 45th week of Shoot and Edit: Part 1! Click HERE for all the details and upcoming prompts/themes and past tutorials. This week our theme or prompt is “Family” (this is just a suggestion, you can show us any SOOC shot…much like I did this week). You have until Wednesday each week to link your SOOC shot up on Jill’s blog. On Thursday, you can link up your edits with ME after following some of my tips on how to edit your shots (or just post your edit on Thursday and you can pick up my tips for next week).

I’m shooting a lot of “family portraits” in anticipation for the holidays…Christmas Cards, etc. Unfortunately, I have not shot my own – maybe next weekend? But for today’s SOOC, I thought I’d share another photo of my sister and her boyfriend. Here’s the original:

I’m pretty happy with my SOOC shot…it really just requires my typical workflow. However, I know that a lot of family portraits require a little cloning work. I’ll share a couple of other photos on Thursday along with my process for blending the photos to create the perfect family portrait. With that in mind, be sure to check out other “Family” SOOC shots at:
