Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to another week of Scavenger Hunt Sunday. We’re officially getting into the holiday season which means trees, lights, presents and family portraits. I haven’t exactly nailed down an idea for my own family photo, but something tells me that I better get on it. Time is running out!

In the meantime, let’s get to the hunt. If you’ve participated in the Scavenger Hunt in the past, I hope this week’s items inspired you. If you’re new to the Scavenger Hunt…WELCOME! Next week’s items are sponsored by Teresa at Eden Hills Photography.

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive).
  6. Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Vision

2. Strong

Felicity’s neck has gotten so strong. She’s also very interested in standing and would love to crawl if she could just figure out how to make her legs and arms move. We’re working on it. Oh…see that black blob in the background. Yep, that’s Kitty Paw!

3. Buttons

Love these buttons on my new brown boots. So cute!

4. Map

When we went to London and Paris last year, we relied heavily on maps to get around. Here you see a map of Paris…and the Eiffel Tower.

5. Favorite Fruit

One of my favorite fruits is grapes…and raisins are basically dried grapes. I like them in my cereal.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here are your items (these can also be found at the bottom of my blog each week), sponsored by Teresa at Eden Hills Photography:
  1. Home or Thankful
  2. In the Kitchen
  3. Couple
  4. Bubbles
  5. Trees

Again, thank you to Teresa at Eden Hills Photography for so many great scavenger hunt items. If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list, add those items to what is currently on tap and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!

    Very nice set Ashley.
My goodness Felicity has the bluest eyes. Isn’t it fun watching them change and start to do things like sit up and crawl. – Oh and I am so happy to catch that blurred glimpse of Kitty Paw in the background. I had feared something might have happened to her since she’d been absent so long from the hunt.

Your buttons shot is really cool, I must say those look like some snazzy boots.

    Awesome set. :)

I like most your map photo ! You must have very good camera because it is so hard to get a pic focused like that of a paper . I also like your fruits and strong ! A baby is so strong as she tries to learn new things .

She gets cuter every week! Glad I’m not the only one who likes to put raisins in my cereal!

I can’t believe how much she is growing!!! I love when they start paying more attention to the world around them! Great set ;D

I love F in strong with KP rolling around in the back!

I’m thinking you really rocked out your set this week in every way. Love how you can see thru the left lens in the glasses, the angle on the boots and cereal (why didn’t I think of raisins-I actually like them) and your little girl is so cute. KP is sitting close, but not too close I see.

I love these Ashley!!!!!! I’m also loving the prompts for next week- hoping with this move I can still pull it together to participate. Hope you have a great week my friend!

Felicity looks like she’s talking to us. Those eyes! Thanks for hosting the hunt, Ashley!

Outstanding job on each of the words – and boy is Felicity growing; she’ll be up and running before you know it. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving !

Great shots, Ashley – good to see Kitty Paw again!

Thanks for hosting another Scavenger Hunt, Ashley! Hope you have a wonderful week.

Your map is so cool. Someday I hope to get to travel to a foreign country!

Great set of photos! Your daugther is adorable!!!
    ENJOY!!!

Thanks for sharing your precious little girl as she grows! Such JOY!! Having lived in Paris, I love your map shot…and the perspective on the boot buttons makes for a lovely shot of some very pretty boots! I love participating every week – I enjoy it so much, and feel like I learn things every week just from looking at everyone’s interpretations and photography! Such a gift you share with all of us!

I love your shots! The map is so cool, and we had similar ideas for vision! I don’t know what I would do without my glasses!

Felicity is getting so big! She will be crawling before you know it!

Great set! I recognized Kitty Paw right away! Felicity is getting so big! Love her gorgeous blue eyes!

Ok so not exactly SHS… but I just wanted to play since I had taken such a long break from blogging!

Sweet Felicity is growing so fast :)

sweet sweet baby stage… such beautiful eyes… blessings!

Wonderful photos for the prompts! Love the angle on the favorite fruit one. I am hoping to get back into the hunt this week. Been missing it.
