Anyways, if this is your first time linking up, I only have two rules (and one suggestion):
1) Only share photos you took yourself. 2) Don’t steal any photos shared through this meme. 3) Suggestion: copy and paste my new button to your blog so others know you’re participating.
I should also mention that your “wittle ones” can include your own children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and/or clients…as long as you were the one holding the camera. With that, I’ll hush and get to the photos. Since I knew I’d be away from home for part of the week (a whole eight hours), I thought I’d squeeze in a mini Christmas photo shoot. I typically allow between 1-2 hours to take photos of my clients. My little clients last between 30-45 minutes. My goal is to capture 20 decent shots and many times…I capture way more. I say all that because my own child lasts 10 minutes. In that 10 minutes, I managed to take about 100 photos. Out of that 100, I flagged 10 as worthy of an edit. Of that 10, I actually edited 5. I’ll leave one of them for Sunday, but here’s a few of my favorite moments.
I really do love these shots. However, I’m very well aware of my limitations and fully plan to hire (or coerce) someone into taking some photos of her/us sometime this Spring.
Long gone are the days of sitting still or staying in one place while I do my thing. Now I have to entertain as I shoot. I don’t think I ever realized how difficult it was to make goofy noises or shake ring toys in order to get my own child to look at the camera. Getting an in-focus shot has never been such a challenge!
But I’m not complaining. I love this child and all her energy. I just hope I can keep up with her once she goes full mobile. I’m getting a bit tired at the thought of it.
Now that I showed you mine, it’s time for you to share photos of your wittle people. If things go well, I might even get to look at your posts. If for some reason I don’t, please don’t hold it against me.
