Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. I hope everyone had a great week. Once again, ours just flew by. But, we got to see our first snow of 2013 – and Felicity’s first snow of all time. So what if it was mostly ice!

On another note (sorry to keep replaying this message)- I still have not had a chance to view any of your Memories, Dreams and Reflections posts, but I promise promise promise that I will over the next month. Oh, and I’ve had some linky trouble lately. I keep adding the linky and then it disappears. As you might imagine, I am not near my computer at midnight when it launches so if you can’t link up immediately, just give me time to wake up and such.

With that said, let’s get to the hunt. If you’ve participated in the Scavenger Hunt in the past, I hope this week’s items inspired you. If you’re new to the Scavenger Hunt…WELCOME! Next week’s Scavenger Hunt list is provided by Christian at To Chance Upon Beauty.

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive).
  6. Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Basket

IMG_3573 RS
Here’s how we get laundry done right now…Felicity sits in the basket as I fold clothes. She’s mildly entertained by it.

2. Park

day at the park rs
Last Sunday, we went to the Lake/Park to take a walk. We did bring the stroller but Felicity preferred to be carried by her Daddy. Either way, it was a beautiful day and tons of people were out.

3. Auto

Auto vs Manual
On the left – a photo taken in auto mode…on the right – a photo taken in manual mode. I’ve left them SOOC so you can see the difference. Probably not my best work but I was scrambling.

4. Recycle

Recycle RS
Speaking of not my best work…

5. People Watching

IMAG0928-1 RS
My husband went to the NC State vs. Duke game last weekend. They won so there was all kinds of excitement flooding the court. I wasn’t there, but I love this shot (taken by my husband). I figure there must have been some good people watching.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, your items are listed below, sponsored by Christian at To Chance Upon Beauty.

  1. Lace
  2. Bling
  3. Wood
  4. Fuzzy
  5. Fabric

Again, thank you to Christian for so many great scavenger hunt items. If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list, add those items to what is currently on tap and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!

I love your photo for park! I really love the colors.

And you were right about the linky. But I will be back to link up!

Her eyes are just huge! I love the shot of her in the laundry basket.

I love all of them but my favorite is your Auto/Manual. You did a sweet job with that interpretation! Your little girl is just adorable! Blessings to all!

I love the ‘basket’ case!! So darling. And the auto/manual mode. The park is gorgeous.

    My Hunt

Love your shots for “basket’ and “park”. Your little one is simply adorable!

    Love her inthe basket!

    Very nice work.

I very much like the colours in the park scene, Very nice.

I can not find that thing to link my photos in Scavenger Hunt Sunday so here is my link to my photos in this Sunday :

I liked you auto/manual photos and basket and in people pic was cool athmosphere and many, many people !

Adorable basket photo! The park/lake looks beautiful what a lovely walk you must’ve had. Ill be loading mine on the link later hopefully it’ll be working :) x

    Beautiful Basket shot!!

Cute photo of Felicity in the basket!

My first week! I’m so excited to participate. I didn’t see a place to link up, but my post is up and ready. As always, your pictures are lovely!

Laundry baskets are so fun when you are little! Cute shot! Love the auto/manual. That was on my mind too!

I almost did the same concept for auto (sans baby and maybe or maybe not cat). Love that Felicity enjoys the laundry basket. My daughter’s first Easter basket was huge so obviously she emptyed it and climbed in and it served as much entertainment as the contents. Kids and baskets – :) Neat ‘people watch’ too.

love those dreamy eyes!! next she will be sitting on the “open” dishwaher door. i promise you!!

I love the first one!! She has the most beautiful eyes and I love her hair!! She certainly is growing fast!! I remember my little ones, who are now grow, playing in and with the laundry basket. When they were a litle older than this they would “hide” under the it and peek out!

Oh what fun that must have been to go to that game. Looks like it was quite the event. Loving that first pic of Felicity. So sweet Ashely!

Great photos, I love the “Auto” take especially. Thanks again for hosting this meme.

Next week is going to be a challenge for me.

Beautiful Park photo. So much fun to be had with laundry baskets!

Let me get this straight… you put her in the basket, and she just sits there happily? Man, boys and girls are so different. My son would have overturned the basket, and he would be climbing something before I folded my second item! : )

Hee, hee, hee…..Kitty Paw in the background. Love the laundry basket shot-and such a cute thing. She’ll enjoy hearing that story when she’s 4 or 5 or 12 or 17. Have a great day Ashley.

Great idea for auto – I love the interpretations. This is my first time – and I’m sure I’ll be back. Now off to look at more wonderful blog scavenger hunts. Thanks.

Great job! I love your park shot, What a beautiful place! ♥

Your little, “basket case” is so cute! She has a lot of hair and such gorgeous eyes.
Loved the Auto/Manual interpetation and how Kitty Paw seems to be in Auto mode in the Manual shot.
    Beautiful Park photo.

I love Kitty Paw in the auto/manual shots!

I’m loving this link up!! Your park picture is dreamy – makes me want to get outside more, but it’s just so cold here in Utah!

Love the basket shot! It won’t be long until she wants to help.

I love the auto/manual shot, especially Kitty Paw in the background. have fun!

Ok I was only able to do 2 of the photo groups. I am slowing trying to get this down. However, I am thinking I need to get a new platform. Blogger caused a lot of problems. I wanted to scream when fixed the pics so that is why I one pic looks off.

I tried the link up. I was only able to to do 2 photos. I had problems with blogger. I am thinking I need a new platform.
