Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. I hope everyone had a great week. I know I am starting to sound like a broken record, but it really has flown by. I’m convinced Felicity has a tooth coming in (I can feel it just barely under the skin) and we’re transitioning into solid food…and all that goes with it. Poor girl!

On another note (sorry to again keep replaying this message)- I still have not had a chance to view any of your Memories, Dreams and Reflections posts, but I promise promise promise that I will over the next month. Oh, and to solve the linky issues I’ve been having, I am obviously launching this post early. I’ve got to run a wordpress update to correct the issue, but I doubt anyone will protest an early Scavenger Hunt.

With that said, let’s get to the hunt. If you’ve participated in the Scavenger Hunt in the past, I hope this week’s items inspired you. If you’re new to the Scavenger Hunt…WELCOME! Next week’s Scavenger Hunt list is provided by Abra at The Magical Miss.

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
  6. Have fun!

Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Lace

Lace RS
This shot is SOOC (straight out of the camera) and in case you’re wondering…it’s some lace on a little headband I have to go with a Valentine’s outfit for Felicity. I just need to set up my shot in the next week or so…stay tuned!

2. Bling

Bling on my Finger RS
Here’s my wedding band. In case you’re wondering, I do have an engagement band, but I took it off after nearly losing it a few weeks ago. For anyone that may want to break into our home to look for it, it’s safely hidden away. I just didn’t want to wear it out into the world and lose it (my fingers get smaller in the winter). Anyways, I love all the colors I was able to capture.

3. Wood

bolt-flooring-landscape4 My husband works with a company that manufacture a product called “Flex Plank.” It’s not hardwood but it’s almost better. It doesn’t buckle or scratch or anything like that. At some point, we’ll probably add it to our home. My husband took this photo of a restaurant downtown.

4. Fuzzy

Fuzzy Wuzzy RS
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear….Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair…Fuzzy wasn’t very fuzzy was he? Yeah, that’s what comes to mind. Felicity unfortunately is too young to protest her mother’s sense of humor. Luckily, she likes lense caps.

5. Fabric

Playmat fabric RS
There’s a lot of fabric in this shot – specifically, the very color fabrics that are on my daughter’s play mat. I do love some color!

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, your items are listed below, sponsored by Abra at The Magical Miss (and there’s a chance that I have already used these items…so please keep sending your lists to me.

  1. Hidden
  2. Plain
  3. Left
  4. Fast
  5. Peace
  6.

Again, thank you to Abra for so many great scavenger hunt items. If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list, add those items to what is currently on tap and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!
