Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday and happy St. Patrick’s Day. This has been a fun week! Felicity said her first word…MAMA! At first I couldn’t get her to repeat it, now she babbles something between mama and baba. Either way, I am tickled pink that her first word is mama. As one of my friends said, “I’d expect no less…I mean, she is attached to you 24/7.”

But enough about me, let’s get to the hunt. If you’ve participated in the Scavenger Hunt in the past, I hope this week’s items inspired you. If you’re new to the Scavenger Hunt…WELCOME! Next week’s Scavenger Hunt list is sponsored by Verna.

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
  6. Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Lucky

drink eat relax RS
The other day I was feeling “lucky.” So…I bought myself a treat – specifically, a Shamrock Shake. It was delicious…especially once I put it in a fancy cup.

2. Irish

Leprachaun Baby 2 RS
If memory serves me correctly, I think that “Sisk” has some Irish ancestry (or something like that). With that in mind, it seems only appropriate to photograph our little Leprechaun.

3. Daylight

I am absolutely loving all the extra daylight we’re getting now that we’ve sprung forward. It doesn’t necessarily mean that we’re getting outside a whole lot just yet, but I’m totally planning to as we get closer to Easter.

4. Pot of Gold

pot of gold RS
Oh how I wish this pot of gold was real – unfortunately, it’s just a prop.

5. Clover

Clover RS
Clover…shamrocks…shamrock cookies…same thing right? I bought these for a little get together. I started with a dozen cookies – only one was eaten. Probably a waste of money. I better eat them.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, your items are listed below…sponsored by Verna.

  1. Asian
  2. Wavy
  3. Draw
  4. Soft
  5. Texture

Thanks again Verna for a great list of items…I needed new lists. If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list, add those items to what is currently on tap and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!

You have the cutest little leprechaun! Have a great day!

    Love all of these!
Your little Felicity is growing so fast! What a cutie! Love her outfit.
I bet she loves that barn. My Granddaughters had one and played with it way past the toddler stage.
    Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

As usual you have done a masterful job! Thanks so much for hosting this meme.

I love that little green dress. So sweet for such a sweet little girl.

Congrats on Felicityfirst word! She is a darling little leprechaun.

Such a cute little girl you have :) Very challenging prompts for me this week but very enjoyable too! x

Thoes are fun looking cookies, I hope they tasted good.

Oh how I love that one for Irish- but as usual they are all just perfect. She’s getting so big. Exciting that her first word was Mama. My middle one said mama first- she was also the one that was stuck to me like cling wrap a million times more than the other two. Maybe there is something to that. :)

Very fun – I admit to having no st. patrick’s day blood in me, so I totally cheated and just posted one photo this week! Your first photo here is my favorite… absolutely love the light and the composition!

Love your little leprechaun! She’s getting so big! And how exciting that her first word was Mama! Love that pot of gold also!

Great photos! I seriously can’t get enough of that St Patty’s day pic of Felicity. Your cutest yet!!!! Love it.

Such beautiful photos…AGAIN! Love her sparlky eyes. Ashley, do you use a flash for such clear photos?

You have the cuttiest Leprechaun and that green shake looks kinda tasty – maybe it is the fancy glass.

You are a lucky Mama. My first word was “Kitty.” Whatever. She has the nicest eyes and you have so many cute things for her. Happy Sisk St Pats.

Beautiful images!! I certainly am enjoying seeing all the green today in celebration of St Patrick’s Day. How exciting that Felicity’s first word was Mama! Both of my children said Dada first, even though I was the one they were attached to! BTW your daughter has the most gorgeous outfits! I love her smocked dress with all the farm animals. Precious!

i know.. we’re not getting much of outside time either. boo! but loving the extra daylight for sure!

i don’t think i’ve ever tried a shamrock shake! i’m not much of a sweet tooth. are they even sweet?

i love your little Leprechaun! too cute! xoxo

Your Irish picture is too cute, and I enjoyed the pot of gold. We are looking forward to warmer weather so we can enjoy that extra hour of daylight.

Beautiful photos, thank you for sharing and having the party!

Wonderful! Your little leprechaun is just adorable!
