Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Based on the number of participants we had last week, it appears that our list was a bit difficult – I completely agree. I hope this week’s list was a touch easier.

With that said, let’s get back to the hunt. For those of you who didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week…next week’s list came straight out of my head. Enjoy!

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
  6. Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Cooler Colors

Cooler Colors RS
When I think of cooler colors, I think of blue. That’s all I got.

2. Leaves

Green Leaves RS
One of the things I look forward to each autumn is the changing of the leaves. I’ve even asked if we can squeeze in a trip to the mountains during peak season this year. Until then, I will enjoy some pretty green leaves (and the privacy they create in my yard).

3. Iced Beverage

Sweet Tea RS
I forgot about this prompt until it was too late, so I pulled this shot out of my archives and re-edited it so it. Iced tea…yum.

4. Cooling Off

Last weekend, we brought out the baby pool. I’ve taken Felicity to the pool a few times this summer, but she’s never acted as “chilled out” as she did in her own little pool. Here she is laughing at her daddy – adorable!

5. Raw

On the left…a RAW image – meaning that I’ve only added my watermark for protection purposes. On the right, my edited photo. Felicity loves chewing on the lids of baby food containers. Who needs toys?

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list.

  1. Body Part (pick any of them, but let’s keep it family friendly)
  2. Wednesday (take a photo on Wednesday – easy enough)
  3. Music
  4. Guess What It Is (photograph anything and make us guess what it is)
  5. Mirror Image

If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!

Isn’t Felicity laughing at her dad just the cutest thing EVER??!! Your picture of iced tea made me thirsty. Love your macro of leaves! And cute shot of blue and yellow beads! Who would have thought of “raw” photo? Great interpretations!

nothing mroe fun than chilling in the pool…she is having a blast.

always the everyday items that make the best toys.

Love how colorful all of these are!

Last week was a bit rough. I do enjoy a challenge but it’s nice to have a few prompts that are challenging mixed in with some that are a bit easier. Either way, I managed to pull it off. I really like your leaf picture.

I always love your entries, you really are an accomplished photographer. Thank you for hosting.

I forgot about the iced drink too and had the best idea too – save for another save!

Yes- last week was hard- this week was much better. :)

Love the raw image- we always found that our kids were just as happy with random things as they were with toys.

    Have a great week Ashley!

Sorry for the hard list last week! But hey, everyone needs a challenge once in a while, right? :)

Love your set this week! Felicity is adorable in the pool! Cool colors made me think of blue also. :)

Felicity is soo cuuuute! She’s growing up super fast!
I wish I could participate in the hunts, but im having blog problems with images not showing up. But I look forward to linking up again once it’s fixed!

I just love that shot for cooling off. She’s such an adorable little girl.

Felicity is so adorable! It’s fun to watch her grow up!
    Cooler colors is intriguing.
