Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. This week flew by, again. It was a busy week and on top of everything else, I lost my wallet. I actually lost it on Thursday and didn’t realize it until Saturday morning before we were trying to leave for the St. Patrick’s Day parade. I mentally retraced my steps and determined that if it wasn’t at home, it had to be at Walmart of all places! I called before we left and got stuck on hold. So, my husband called in the afternoon and as LUCK would have it, it had been returned to lost and found. Sure, my money was gone – but what did I really expect…I lost it at WALMART! The good news is that I still have my wallet and I don’t have to replace my license. The bad news is that I still had to cancel all my credit cards. As good as I’d like to believe people are, there’s always the chance that someone is banking on me leaving those accounts open so they can take advantage of me later. Ugh. But enough about me. If you didn’t participate this week in my scavenger hunt, but want to participate next week…next week’s list is brought to you by…Kimberly!

The rules are simple:
- Anyone can participate.
- You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
- Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
- Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:
1. Doorway
I took a similar photo of my husband filing his nails in this spot a year or two or three ago. This time, Felicity is vacuuming. If you know him, this is evidence that she is clearly his child. That said, I also have evidence that I once liked to vacuum. I bet you want to see this evidence. Okay…here ya go!
Don’t hate on my sense of style.
2. Candid
Trying to get your toddler to look at you while she’s watching Doc McStuffins warrants this response. It’s as if she’s saying “I can’t hear you!”
3. Open
Declan came over to play with Felicity on Friday. I tried to capture a good shot of him while he was here for his mommy. I didn’t have as much luck as I would hope. But, there’s an open door in this shot.
4. Look Up
I don’t know if you can tell by the shot on the left, but I had to look up to take the shot since I was on the ground and they were standing on top of a bench. Jeremy was looking up at Felicity while she looked down. And just because I can, I included a photo of me too. This is us at Felicity’s first parade…to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. I’m sure if you look hard, there’s a little bit of Irish blood in our veins somewhere.
5. Stuffed
Stuffed…Stuffy…same difference.
So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list.
- Leading Lines
- Relationship
- Good Morning!
- Together
- Project
If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
Happy Shooting!
