Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Last week, I told you about losing my wallet. This week, our family had the stomach bug that’s been going around. It hit Felicity late Saturday night (7 pm)…me early Sunday morning (3 am) and Jeremy early Monday morning (1 am). Luckily, Felicity and I recovered fairly quickly. Unfortunately, Jeremy got hit 10x worse than we did and spent most of the week in bed (or in the bathroom). I hope we don’t have to go through that again – at least not for a long while. But enough about me. If you didn’t participate this week in my scavenger hunt, but want to participate next week…next week’s list is brought to you by…Diane!

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
  6. Have fun!

Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Leading Lines

7F1A5312 RS
In the past few days, Felicity has been very interested in sitting. She drags me over to our reclining rocker to “sit.” She likes to “sit” on the stairs. She likes to “sit” on the potty, etc. Well, the other day, she wanted to sit on the stairs. I thought stairs…leading lines…camera. I took a few shots and she ran over to see what I did. I showed her and she said again, then ran back to where she was sitting and looked down. I snapped some more. She ran over to see what I did and said again. Repeat. Friends, we may have turned a corner!

2. Relationship

Mommy Kisses RS
Same time frame as above…I sat down with Felicity and asked for a kiss. She gave it to me. So, I thought we’d try to take a selfie. This is magic! I always knew my relationship with my child(ren) would be special…I never knew it would be like this.

3. Good Morning

Kitty Paw in the Morning RS
As of lately, Kitty Paw has been sitting on the bathroom counter when I wake up in the morning. On Friday morning, I decided to capture her in action. For those of you who have wondered where Kitty Paw’s been hiding, here she is.

4. Together

7F1A5277 RS
I hate to use another photo from last weekend, but I love this shot of my husband and daughter together.

5. Project

easter garland RS
A few weeks ago (early March), I decided that I was over winter. So, I put out my Easter decorations. Something was missing…some sort of Easter garland for the fireplace mantel. I found THIS on Pinterest…then went to Walmart for some eggs and thread…then came home and put it all together. I’m quite pleased with the outcome, but it was a PROJECT to do with Felicity trying to un-attach every egg.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list.

  1. What IS that?
  2. Yum
  3. On the Road
  4. On the Shelf
  5. Bad Habit

If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!
