Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. It’s too pretty outside for me to say much. I just hope you’re enjoying it as much as we are! So, if you didn’t participate this week in my scavenger hunt, but want to participate next week…next week’s list is brought to you by…Shannie!

The rules are simple:
  1. Anyone can participate.
  2. You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
  3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
  4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
  5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
  6. Have fun!

Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Macro

Macro toes RS
I completely intended on doing a spring macro shot this week. I have several shots in Lightroom right now that I could probably get away with, but I’m not happy with a single one. I can’t even say I’m happy with this shot. Probably means I need to practice macro photography again.

2. Wheels

I shared this shot earlier in the week. This is an antique baby carriage or pram that my parents gave Felicity for Christmas. We don’t let her play with it much because it’s so old and fragile, but I thought it’d make for some really interesting photos. Figures that she didn’t want to play with it much once she was allowed.

3. Shiny

It was a sun-SHINY day on Thursday (well all week really). We met up with some old friends for a play date…and while they were getting a ball to play with, we explored. I had no idea that the sun would create clones though. Wow.

4. Weather

7F1A5699
The weather has been GORGEOUS this week. In fact, as soon as Felicity wakes up from her nap, we’re going to enjoy the rest of the afternoon OUTDOORS! One thing I don’t have photos of this week is Felicity enjoying her water table with her daddy. She was covered from head to toe…freezing cold from the water and having a blast! I think it was 80 degrees that day. Another day, we took a walk around the neighborhood and then blew bubbles. She figured out how to blow bubbles herself. I just wish the weather would stay pretty and 70s/80s vs. the 100 degree temps we’ll get in a couple of months.

5. Favorite Sport

Running? I, personally, am not a fan, but Felicity does love to run…as long as no one else is watching.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list.

  1. Neglected
  2. Signs of Spring
  3. Last Thing You Bought
  4. Shadow
  5. Four Things

If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!

Sweet phots. Wheels and running as favorite sport are my favorite picks today!

Felicity is getting so big! She’s such a sweetheart! Love her little toes! Love the last shot of her. She looks like she’s really enjoying herself.

Again, you are a great photographer and your daughter is beautiful. I especially like the “wheel” shot. I have friends who used a real pram for their baby. It was quite a sight.

You can tell she loves to run. What a cute smile on her face.

I absolultely love those adorable macro toes! Cute buggy. I am envious of all the green grass, as we’re still brown. Hopefully soon.
