Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Today is my birthday! We’re also celebrating Felicity’s 2nd birthday this afternoon. You know what that means, right? I’ve kinda been preoccupied this week with party planning…and now it’s late Saturday night and I’m scrambling. Looking back, it seems as if the linky thing worked out okay, so we’ll try that again this week. I just don’t have the energy to do much with it right now. If you didn’t participate this week in my scavenger hunt, but want to participate next week…next week’s list is an Ashley original…because I need an easy week.

The rules are simple:
- Anyone can participate.
- You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
- Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
- Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:
Have I shared this one yet (on the blog)? This is Felicity unplugged…complete with iPad in hand and crying because…well I don’t know why.
Michelle took this photo – I’m not sure why it’s unassuming…it just is.
We went to the pool the other morning with our friends Pam and Declan. I hadn’t really planned to photograph Declan, although I had planned to photograph this new snack cup that I’m trying out. Declan had other plans though and quickly became the subject of my photos. I guess when you keep your children unleashed, you should expect the unexpected? Okay, that was a stretch.
Frogs and other wildlife are usually pretty unapproachable. The moment they see someone with a camera, they’re off. On this rare occasion, I had a cute little frog pose for me. Must have been my lucky day.
You might say that my friend, Courtney, is completely unaware of how beautiful she is. I can’t wait to share the rest of these photos – stunning!
So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list:
- 1. Pink
- 2. Wheels
- 3. Friend(s)
- 4. Emotion
- 5. Sweet
If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
