Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Today is Felicity’s 2nd birthday! I can’t believe that it’s been two years since she came into our lives. The past year has been such a transformation from the baby she was even a year ago. She runs, she talks, she hugs, she kisses, she says I LOVE YOU…she is so much fun and I can’t imagine a day without her. I still need to take her out for some official birthday photos…and I still need to edit photos from her birthday party (so graciously taken by my friend, Michelle), but that doesn’t stop this little girl from turning 2. WOW. Anyways, if you didn’t participate this week in my scavenger hunt, but want to participate next week…next week’s list is an Ashley original. I have a couple of other lists to pull from, but next weekend, we’ll all be celebrating the 4th of July, so I thought we’d stick with that as our theme. Enjoy!

The rules are simple:
- Anyone can participate.
- You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
- Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
- Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:
As you might imagine, Felicity has a lot of pink in her wardrobe. Here, she has on a pink bow…along with her “2” year old outfit.
For her 2nd birthday, Felicity received a brand new tricycle. She loves it!
Felicity’s best friend is Mat-tie, although Maddie seems to show her affection much more so than Felicity. I can’t really blame her, she’s wired so much like me, and I’m not a huge hugger. However, I have noticed that Felicity is much more willing to give hugs and kisses when those she loves have to go.
When we started singing “Happy Birthday to You,” you could tell that Felicity was realizing that everyone at the party was there for her. I’ve never seen a child this young get embarrassed, but the look on her face says it all. She’s happy and kinda taken aback by the whole thing.
The other night, Felicity was ready for her daddy to come home. She was so ready, that she insisted on sitting by the door to wait until he arrived. Here she sees his car pulling into the driveway. She’s so excited!
So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list:
- 1. Red
- 2. White
- 3. Blue
- 4. Play
- 5. Sparkle
If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
