Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. We played hard today (Saturday). I really should have taken a nap…and now I’m tired. But enough about me. If you didn’t participate this week in my scavenger hunt, but want to participate next week…next week’s list is also an Ashley original. Enjoy!

The rules are simple:
- Anyone can participate.
- You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
- Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
- Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:
Yesterday, we celebrated Lillie’s first birthday. I photographed the event so you can expect to see more photos later in the week, but here’s a taste of the party…or rather a family photo. I think Miss Lillie is missing her pair of sunglasses!
Summer should ALWAYS include a sprinkler. Felicity would have nothing to do with this one, but her friend Salem was all about it!
Last weekend while in the mountains, I was photographing some stuff for Daily Mom
. This is one of my photos that did not make the cut for the post I’m working on, but I love how dramatic it is. Funny enough, I was just outside of our condo and the families on either side of us kept poking their head out the door to see what I was doing. I guess they hadn’t seen a grown woman doing selfies with a tripod before.
Lots of green this time of year…even on top of cute birthday cupcakes. You’ll see in my birthday party post, later in the week, how Lillie did with her first taste of cake.
Jeremy had Lasik done by Travers Lasik
this week. I HAD to take a photo of him in his post-op get-up. Luckily, he only had to wear those things for one night. Best that we can tell, he;s healed quite well. Thanks Dr. Travers!
So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list:
- 1. Full
- 2. Donut
- 3. Bug
- 4. In the Car
- 5. Straw
If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
