Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. We had such a fun week. It started with a visit from Felicity’s MawMaw and ended with a trip to see the Disney Princesses. Since I’ve gotten pretty bad about sharing tons of photos during the week, SHS has become my outlet to share a few photos of our lives in action. If you didn’t participate this week in my scavenger hunt, but want to participate next week, be sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom.

The rules are simple:
- Anyone can participate.
- You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
- Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
- Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:
1. Two Things
I carpooled with Declan’s mom to an event yesterday. Felicity loved having a buddy to talk to in the back seat. In fact, I looked back and they were holding hands. I love these 2 things…you know, thing 1 and thing 2.
2. Animal
This weekend we celebrated our friend, Declan’s, birthday by going to see Disney characters at one of our local parks. To be honest, it was a lot of princesses, but he’s 2…what does he know? Here Declan is being a “party animal” amongst all the ladies.
3. Handwriting
Did you know that August is Breastfeeding Awareness Month? In fact, Daily Mom recently launched a Breastfeeding Awareness Campaign and is looking for your stories around breastfeeding. I’m actually sharing my own story soon. This particular shot was taken as part of that story, which started with 3-4 weeks of pumping and bottle feeding. If you have a story to share, be sure to
4. Frozen
Yesterday, a local party company hosted an event with many of the Disney characters…including Frozen’s Elsa and Anna. Felicity acted like she wanted to see them, but she is still very hesitant to go to someone she doesn’t know. So, the idea of giving “ANNA” a hug was too much. I took this shot then swooped in to get her. Later, Elsa sang “Let it Go.” Felicity was sitting in my lap so I couldn’t fully capture the experience, but this is her singing along.
5. Naptime
These photos were taken a couple of months ago, but I don’t know that I’ve ever shared them. Felicity looks so sweet when she’s asleep. Heck, she looks just as sweet when she’s wide awake.
So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list:
- 1. Bathroom Selfie
- 2. Hop, Skip or Jump
- 3. Creative Angle
- 4. Box or Package/li>
- 5. Unfocused
If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
Happy Shooting!
