Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. It’s been another fun and busy week, with little time to write. I’ve been editing lots of photos and getting ready for Felicity’s first day of Preschool. Oh my! With that said, I’m glad you’re here and if you didn’t participate this week in my scavenger hunt, but want to participate next week, be sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom.

The rules are simple:
    • Anyone can participate.
    • You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
    • If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
    • Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
    • Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
    • Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Table Setting

Table Setting RS
I don’t know if I mentioned it before, but I do some part-time work for my husband’s business – photographing weddings and events for a catering firm. This past weekend, I photographed a wedding at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham, NC. It was beautiful…but hot (the actual wedding and hors devours were outside). This is a photo of the table set up inside.

2. Flowers

Sunflower RS
At that wedding, I wandered around a bit while I waited for things to get going. I found this beautiful sunflower outside.

3. Children

Declan 2 Yr Old Portraits_44 RS
This is one of my favorite photos from the week…Felicity and Declan.

4. Running

Zan 3 Yr Old Portraits_18 RS
I shared photos of Zan on Friday night – he just turned 3 years old. He’s been running from me since he could walk, and while he stopped a few times, he is still running!

5. Photographer’s Choice

Pulliam Twins 6 Months_095 RS
These are Zan’s twin sisters – fraternal twins. We tried really hard to get both girls looking up at the same time. I actually had to blend two photos to get this shot, but I think it turned out pretty good. I’ll be sharing more photos from their session early next week.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list:

    • 1. Back to School
    • 2. Family
    • 3. Books
    • 4. Portrait/li>
    • 5. Detail

If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!
