Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. I’ve gotta be honest with you. It’s late on Saturday night as I’m writing this…and about an hour ago, I realized that I hadn’t even started the scavenger hunt. Sure, I always have photos…I mean, I’ve had three sessions this week and another 1 or 2 (depending on the weather) tomorrow…but actually writing it? Geez, I’m behind! But, I’m glad you’re here and if you didn’t participate this week in my scavenger hunt, but want to participate next week, be sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom.

The rules are simple:
- Anyone can participate.
- You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
- Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
- Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:
1…2….Liam is 2 years old! We celebrated yesterday.
On Friday, I had a session with Tate. If you missed his session, click HERE
One of Felicity’s favorite things to do right now is to look at her old photo albums. I actually have been pretty good about printing them regularly. In fact, I decided to do 3 this year instead of my usual 2 after producing a 100 page album and realizing that I wasn’t going to reduce my number of photos in the future. Anyways, this is one of my favorites from the past few months. Memories!
I’ve had some really busy days as of late. And Felicity has too. Poor child is already doing lots of “take your daughter to work” days. On the right – she was with me during Tate’s session. Then, yesterday – she went to Liam’s birthday party with me while I was working. Granted, she’s kinda friends with Liam so she was having fun too!
5. Where I Stand
I probably should have gotten a shot of myself standing or at least my feet….but I decided to take a different spin on this prompt. From where I stand, I have the most awesome gift of helping beautiful families capture memories. For instance, this mother/daughter (Liam’s Aunt and cousin) asked if I might be available next week for a session. As it turns out, I am booked solid for the next couple of weeks and kinda looking forward to Christmas break, but I offered to take a few shots while I was there of just the two of them. It wasn’t planned, but man, so beautiful. I feel really blessed to be in this position right now.
So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here’s your list. Actually, with Thanksgiving and all….why don’t you simply share 5 of your favorite shots from the week.
- 1. Favorite 1
- 2. Favorite 2
- 3. Favorite 3
- 4. Favorite 4
- 5. Favorite 5
If you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
