Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday. So, last week, I told you that I had some exciting news. Well Wednesday night, we took off and went to Disney World. We have had a blast (and we’re on our way home now). I took a lot of pictures…can’t say they’re much to write home about, but I know Felicity will enjoy looking through them as we relive our trip over and over again. I’ll be sure to post some of our favorites over the next week or so. Until then, link up! If you didn’t join this week’s Scavenger Hunt but want to join us next week, then scroll down all the way to the bottom for your list.

The rules are simple:
- Anyone can participate.
- You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
- If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
- Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
- Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
- Have fun!
Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:
Disney really earned their price of admission the past few days. You can’t possibly spend a day (or two or three) in Disney and NOT walk away happy. Felicity had a blast…and one of her favorite things to do during our trip was to use this bubble gun. I wish I could capture all this time we’ve had and relive it over and over and over again. Oh wait, I guess we can in pictures, but man…it’s just not the same.
2. On My Plate
We ate at Hollywood & Vine on Saturday night. The buffet was delicious and we were so glad to finally sit down and rest for a minute (yes, we rested often, but this was the end of our vacation so we were quite tired). I believe this is my second plate so it has a little sampling of pork tenderloin, green beans, broccoli and some Red Velvet cake!
Last weekend, I photographed this sweet baby boy. His has 2 big furry brothers, so his mom thought it might be fun to dress him as a puppy. Unfortunately, his brothers didn’t want to cooperate for a family photo, but this is still pretty cute. More to come from this session over the next week.
4. Negative Space
Felicity got some new headphones last week in preparation for our trip to Disney. When I showed them to her, she couldn’t wait to put them on…and then immediately found “All About that Bass” on Jib Jab (because she always sees that ad pop up on Facebook) and started jamming. Adorable!
5. Photographer’s Choice
The other day, it was so beautiful outside that I felt like it would be a crime to stay inside. Felicity loved the fresh air and I love this photo.
So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, here’s next week’s list…provided by the Bethadilly Challenge.
- 1. What I Did Today
- 2. Green
- 3. Errand
- 4. In My Kitchen
- 5. Something Old
On another note, if you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
