Scavenger Hunt Sunday
Welcome back to Scavenger Hunt Sunday! It’s been a busy week and I have been working hard to edit client photos all week. May and October are my busiest months, but I do love meeting up with all of my favorite people for photos. I just need to schedule some time for my own family to be photographed – oh the life of a photographer! If you didn’t join this week’s Scavenger Hunt but want to join us next week, then scroll down all the way to the bottom for your list.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

The rules are simple:
    • Anyone can participate.
    • You’re encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
    • If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I’m not too strict about it – I do my best to take fresh shots).
    • Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) – you can use the button above.
    • Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (with so many new participants each week, it’s the only way I know to be inclusive
    • Have fun!

Without further discussion…here are my interpretations this week:

1. Mirror

First and Last Day of School
I love the idea of photographing Felicity on her first day of school and her last – in the exact same outfit. So much has changed over the past 9 months. Hard to believe my baby is a preschooler now!

2. Stripes

I just love this image. Truth be told, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky, but Photoshop can make almost anything happen.

3. Crisp

IMG_9338 RS2
How about the opposite of crisp. This image is a little soft but I love it, so what!

4. Energy

IMG_9500 RS
Too obvious? How about the image on the left – I love the energy in that shot. :)

5. Negative Space

I’ve been planning to take Felicity to the strawberry farm for a while, but I was waiting for a nice overcast/cloudy day. We finally got one, but it came with a lot of humidity. Either way, I love the clouds in the sky.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, here’s next week’s list…provided by the Bethadilly Challenge.

    • 1. Together
    • 2. Black and White
    • 3. Flowers
    • 4. Grass
    • 5. Abstract

On another note, if you’d like to contribute items to the list, just send me an email with your suggestions (I can better keep track of them this way). Each week, I will select one reader’s prompt list and give the selected reader a shout out on my blog during Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Happy Shooting!

I like most the 1. photo : how a child grows in one period. Our life is interesting. Childhood is short, so one should understand the value of everyday.
And also I like the 4. photo, although the black/white itself is enough. It has energy and the photo in right side is unnessecary (in my opinion )
    Have a nice week.

    Nice photos :)

    Look how much she’s grown!

I really like the negative space image image. As always, nicely done.

Great photographs, thank you for hosting this meme.

Beautiful series. I’ve decided I have to learn about Photoshop. Seems like a daunting task though. I’m so glad you host SHS. It is one of my favorite memes.
