Feels Like Home

October 28, 2011
Earlier this week (Shoot and Edit: Week 42 – Memories SOOC), I shared one of my favorite memories from a revisit visit to my in-laws. Yes, it is out-of-focus, but I think it adds a feeling of nostalgia. The more I look at this image, the more I love it. It reminds me family…more importantly it is a glimpse of what life is going to look like when we have our own family. September 30, 2011

I also mentioned that after walking forever and ending up at Marie-Antoinette’s estate, we kept wondering where the palace was…well after walking just a little more, we finally found it. Here’s just a little bit of the history: “The site began as Louis XIII’s hunting lodge before his son Louis XIV transformed and expanded it, moving the court and government of France to Versailles in 1682. Each of the three French kings who lived there until the French Revolution added improvements to make...
