Caroline turns ONE!

Last weekend, I met up with one of my favorite families (well favorite families to photograph) to celebrate Caroline’s 1st Birthday. You may remember Caroline from a session I did last fall (click HERE) – it was during that session that Miss Caroline started crawling. To be completely honest, Caroline wasn’t feeling her absolute best last Saturday…but you would never know by these pictures. The Day Planner

Many of you have often wondered how I keep track of everything. It’s simple…I carry a day planner with me everywhere. In fact, I nearly titled this post, “My Lifeline.” Outside of my camera and my computer, my day planner is one of those things I really must have with me…kinda sad huh? As you can tell by the worn edges, I flip through it a lot. On any given date, I have several things listed from themes for that day, to reminders to write something or ideas I don’t want to forget. Thank goodness it’s FRIDAY!!! Even with an ice day (because we didn’t get much snow), I feel like this week has really been a drag. But enough of my complaining.  I thought I’d share another photo from the shots I took on Saturday when we received a “touch of snow.” I followed my exact steps from yesterday’s edit and I’m really loving this recipe. My only regret was that I didn’t take a true macro shot of the snow. It was coming down in pellets vs. flakes…and it was melting as quickly as it came down so I was lucky to get a shot at all....

Before I get into today’s post, I just want to send out a huge thank you and hug to everyone who follows my blog – as it appears, there are over 1000 of you guys now.  WOW and thank you!
