The Day Planner

Many of you have often wondered how I keep track of everything. It’s simple…I carry a day planner with me everywhere. In fact, I nearly titled this post, “My Lifeline.” Outside of my camera and my computer, my day planner is one of those things I really must have with me…kinda sad huh? As you can tell by the worn edges, I flip through it a lot. On any given date, I have several things listed from themes for that day, to reminders to write something or ideas I don’t want to forget. Winter

Thank goodness it’s FRIDAY!!! Even with an ice day (because we didn’t get much snow), I feel like this week has really been a drag. But enough of my complaining.  I thought I’d share another photo from the shots I took on Saturday when we received a “touch of snow.” I followed my exact steps from yesterday’s edit and I’m really loving this recipe. My only regret was that I didn’t take a true macro shot of the snow. It was coming down in pellets vs. flakes…and it was melting as quickly as it came down so I was lucky to get a shot at all....

Christmas Eve Macro

Last month, I photographed one of my new ornaments (you can see that photograph here). I’m not sure exactly what these ornaments are called, but I bought five of them to use as table decor in my dining room (you can the entire display here). Anyways…I got off work early yesterday and came home to some incredible sun. I looked just like a kid in a candy store as I wandered around our dining room (because that’s where the bulk of the light flooded in) taking pictures…including the shot below.
