Durham Photo Walk 2010: Part 1 – Macro...

July 26, 2010
This weekend was HOT…too hot to be outside between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm taking pictures in downtown Durham, but Natalie and I were troopers and toughed it out with the big boys for Scott Kelby’s Third Annual Worldwide Photo Walk. Shortly after dinner, my mother-in-law decided she was going to make homemade ice cream.  When I walked out on the back porch, my niece was standing there – I couldn’t tell if she was tired or starting to think about vacation being over. She looked so...

I looked down and remembered that I still had a number of my favorite TV programs to watch that were saved on our DVR. Honestly, I considered including the remote as part of my favorite things, but then I reconsidered…because, let’s be honest, it’d be really lame if one of my favorite things was a remote control. Instead, I thought I’d mix it up over at Macro Friday. Honestly though, just as I look forward to certain photo challenges, I have certain tv programs...
