Pixel Perfect: Before and After

June 03, 2010
In my previous post, I shared my favorite shot from last weekend at the Rose Garden. I thought for my Pixel Perfect entry, that I’d share my editing steps with you. I initially thought I’d display a picture of our front door (it was a little boring), but then I recalled a photo I took at Duke Gardens in April. I love this shot and I love the texture – I feel like it’s a nice reflection of my style. For more photo challenge entries, go

Shutter Love Tuesday

May 25, 2010
I just found Trendy Treehouse today and since I’m always looking for ways to connect with others who share my interest in photography…I thought I’d join and share one of my photos for this week’s Shutter Love Tuesday. The theme is nature. This photo was taken at the beginning of spring at Sarah P. Duke Gardens. Although I did add some texture, that dreamy blue is completely natural! Now that you’ve seen my entry, check out some of the other entries at the Trendy Treehouse.
