Because I can…here are a few more pictures from Michael’s 50th Birthday Party last night. I love the way Andy is looking at Sarah. She’s clearly the “ham” between the two of them (love ya Sayrah), but you can tell how much he loves her when she’s not paying any attention. I posted a picture of this kid last night. He’s so freaking cute….even if he is hiding! And of course – Zander playing his mandolin. Very cute. I also took some of Alyssa and Carter, but haven’t quite done my magic. Alyssa just lost a tooth and Carter is crawling...

Slowly but surely, I’m trying to get out of shooting in full auto mode. A few days ago, we had great light shining in our dining room. I thought I’d be able to get a shot of my cat, but she wouldn’t give me the time of day…so, our faux flower arrangement became my subject. Case of the “Wants!”

I guess I knew when I bought my (first) DSLR, that it’d quickly become an expensive hobby, but I am trying to pace myself. And, my goal has never been to become a professional photographer…but I would like to develop my skills (while practicing on my nieces and nephews) so that when we do have children of our own, that I’m able to capture all those precious moments (or something like that).
