Relevant!

Several weeks ago, I remember sitting in an HR conference during the afternoon key note message. The speaker was a petite woman with blond hair and a BIG voice…a big voice that offended a lot of people (that’s another story for another time), but she had a good message. The one that really stuck with me was “BE RELEVANT!”I was reminded of being relevant during last week’s church message in which we discussed the value of relevance and effectiveness. Contagious!

Rarely when we hear the word contagious is it seen as positive. Speaking from personal experience, if a coworker walks into the office with a sickly look on their face or coughing up a lung, I am quick to ask, “are you contagious?!”…followed by, “stay away from me.”  The same thing can often be said of Christians…if we can effectively deliver a message of faith, love, hope and forgiveness, then we can infect others so much so that they want to know what it feels like. Life is Like a Maze…

Okay…that’s not always the case – we make decisions all the time that are incredibly easy.
