A lot of newbies have been joining the photography board lately. Abi is one of those newbies…and today she offered up her son, Brody Lee, for a “before & after.” Actually…she asked for feedback and I offered to edit – she accepted. Thanks Abi!This photo of her son  is a great “mommy shot,” but the flash has made his skin blotchy and uneven. Before & After

One of the ladies on the photography board was asking a few questions about editing  in Photoshop Elements yesterday. I mentioned to her that if she ever wanted me to run some edits and spell out the process, that I’d be happy to do so. Well, she took me up on my offer and I’m so glad she did. In this picture, the sunlight is creating an interesting pattern on his face. Can you believe it’s mid-May already? Time really flies, doesn’t it? Well, it’s Friday…again! And today’s Fix-It Friday challenges comes from Christina. Graduation Portrait Session

One of my best friends is graduating from NC State University with her Ph.D.  this coming weekend – that’s right people…I have smart friends! My friends and I have been calling her DOC for years, but she can now officially write Dr. before her name. Impressed? I am.  A few weeks ago, I sent her a note asking if she’d be up for a portrait session in full regalia – it’d be my gift to her (and a chance for me to work on my skills).
