It’s getting late for me, but I wanted to edit the second photo that Care submitted for help. I followed essentially the same steps as my last edit with minor tweaking. Before & After: Manual Edit – NO ACTIONS...

Look Mom, no actions. Okay, in all seriousness, I wanted to prove that I could edit without using actions…and hopefully you’ll tell me that I still do a good job. Here’s what I’m going to do…I’ll show you my basic edit in my typical before and after format. Then, I’ll max it out with texture and style…again, no actions. One of the ladies on the photography board took a great shot of two men. Here’s the story: one of the men in the picture below recently celebrated his 40th birthday. As a part of his birthday surprise, his wife flew in a childhood friend from Ireland that he hadn’t seen in 10 years. Ilene sent me a note the other day through my Contact Me page asking me a few questions about getting started. I sometimes take for granted that I have some experience with editing and that I’ve downloaded so many actions, tools, etc to make my life a little easier.
