Edit Me!

July 30, 2011
Last week, I missed Branson’s Edit Me challenge (or have I missed it for two weeks…anyways). This week, I had a little more time in my schedule so I decided to take a shot at this week’s photo, submitted by Beth from Our Typical Life. I did not write down my exact steps, however I do know that I started my edit in Lightroom. I actually used a lot of Caroline’s steps from this week’s good to WOW tutorial. This week’s EDIT ME challenge is sponsored by Mandy at A Sorta Fairytale. As soon as I saw her little boy, I got a little nervous. You see, I really admire Mandy’s work. She also suggested that we try adding text to this image…which only seemed appropriate. Here’s my edit: I have already seen some incredible edits – everyone is really rocking this challenge. I decided (once again) to try something a little different and stretch the canvas (discussed HERE). Thus, I turned a vertical shot into a horizontal shot. After inverting the image (I’ll talk more about...
