Welcome Baby Zan: Newborn Sneak Peek

September 02, 2011
This past weekend, after Hurricane Irene blew through, I met up with Baby Zan. At only eight days old, he’s already experienced an earthquake and a hurricane, so we know he’s going to be a strong young man one day.Zan’s mother and I went to high school together. I was thrilled when she contacted me several months ago to ask if I’d be interested in doing a newborn session. It didn’t take me very long to respond. Locked Up!

August 26, 2011
Kitty Paw has been doing this thing lately where she puts herself in “jail.” Jail can either be between the pegs of my makeup stool (I’ve had this stool since my 9th grade Debuette presentation…if you’re not from the South, this might not make sense to you. The mushrooms had multiplied! In fact, you’re going to see more mushrooms in the Scavenger Hunt because even more of them sprouted up a few days later.  And as interesting as...

Me and Alyssa

August 13, 2011
It may be hard to believe, but we were so on the go all weekend long that I didn’t even think to have a formal “portrait session” during Alyssa’s visit. However, I can say that while we were at Frankie’s Fun Park, we did jump in the Photo Booth (on the left…obviously) for a few silly shots. Then, when her dad called to let us know he’d be leaving a little earlier to pick her up, I made sure to get a few more. The shot on the right might be my favorite from the entire weekend.       PS: Ignore my roots…I had my hair colored on Monday so they...
