Peace(ful) Protest: Preserving the Peace College Legacy...

July 29, 2011
Many of you may know that I am a proud Class of 2004 Peace College graduate. Peace is a women’s liberal arts college located in the heart of downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, founded in 1854 by William Peace. Echinacea Magnus (aka Cone flowers)

July 22, 2011
I DO NOT have a green thumb. In fact, if you see any beautiful flowers appearing on my blog, I am not to be credited. I’m doing good if I can simply water them. I guess this is one of those times that I shouldn’t say anything at all. Have a wonderful weekend!

Downtown Durham is not exactly the safest of places, and I thought that the taking pictures of people in the waiting room or even around the courthouse might be frowned upon. Needless to say, I was anxious to pick up my camera last night and since I’ve had my Scavenger Hunt photos done for several days now (I wasn’t sure what to expect, so I did a lot of writing on Monday and Tuesday), I decided to photograph to photograph my Valentine’s flowers…macro style. All of the pinks, greens and white just...
