You may remember that I attended my niece and nephew’s birthday party a couple of weekends ago. I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had much time to process the photos until earlier this week. We had such a wonderful time and these pictures are just a taste of it!Alyssa (7) and Carter (2) are obviously five years apart, but they were also born about two weeks apart. A few weeks ago, Elena at Selfie Magic prompted us to take a “jumping” self portrait. If you click HERE, you’ll see that she is the master! Me…not so much, but I wanted to give it a good ol’ college try. So, this past weekend, with about an hour to kill, I decided to take my camera and tripod outside. I learned a few things along the way: Timing is everything – I ended up with a lot of shots in which I was barely off the ground. I have no control over my facial expressions. On Sunday I shared a couple of pictures of my girl, Kitty Paw,  basking in the sun. As you might imagine, those were NOT the only two pictures I took that evening. So, I thought I’d share a couple more today…in black and white.Isn’t she beautiful? Perhaps I should submit her photos to some sort of feline modeling agency. Yesterday, I was supposed to participate in a photography workshop. Notice the phrase “supposed to?” Scattered thunderstorms canceled those plans. No worries, Casey gave me a call and we decided to meet up for a little photography session of our own. Casey and I have met up a few times, but this was our first one-on-one date. I can assure you that it will not be our last! We tried to see who could out-goof the other.
