Caroline turns ONE!

Last weekend, I met up with one of my favorite families (well favorite families to photograph) to celebrate Caroline’s 1st Birthday. You may remember Caroline from a session I did last fall (click HERE) – it was during that session that Miss Caroline started crawling. To be completely honest, Caroline wasn’t feeling her absolute best last Saturday…but you would never know by these pictures. One Snowy Night

I don’t know if I like this photo or not. On Christmas Night, my husband and I were driving home from my parents house. There were threats of snow, so we thought it best to get home safely before the roads got too covered. On our way home, we may a quick decision to get Chinese takeout – we had some leftovers, but wanted to be sure we had plenty of food in the event that we couldn’t get out the next day. This is all a moot point considering that while the roads were covered the next day, my husband still decided to drive over to Walmart the next morning to get the proper...

Winter

Thank goodness it’s FRIDAY!!! Even with an ice day (because we didn’t get much snow), I feel like this week has really been a drag. But enough of my complaining.  I thought I’d share another photo from the shots I took on Saturday when we received a “touch of snow.” I followed my exact steps from yesterday’s edit and I’m really loving this recipe. My only regret was that I didn’t take a true macro shot of the snow. It was coming down in pellets vs. flakes…and it was melting as quickly as it came down so I was lucky to get a shot at all....
