This week’s Paper Heart Camera and You Capture theme is outside. To be completely honest, it is entirely too cold for this southern girl to be going outside with the exception of going into work. So, you’ll have to forgive me for using a shot that I took a few weeks ago. However, it has been hanging out on an my old SD card so it’s almost brand new…right? I had no intention of photographing a mosquito, but it flew into my composition, so I quickly snapped. Although I really like the tones in the original shot, I’m not completely happy with the composition....

Sweet Baby 7D!

The past two days have been crazy busy and it is way too cold in North Carolina. However, all is well because I finally have not one but TWO Compact Flash cards for my brand new Canon 7D camera. After going through Google Reader and returning as many emails as possible, I thought I’d take a few pictures. Of course, I could have take pictures of anything, but I really wanted to take advantage of the my higher ISO capabilities. Thanksgiving Extravaganza 2010

I am spending time with my husband’s family tonight, so I’ll keep this brief. On Sunday, my friends got together for our 6th Annual Thanksgiving Extravaganza (we checked the date, it was in fact the 6th annual, not the 7th annual).
