Oh, how I love i ♥ faces’ Fix-It Friday – and how I missed it last week. This week’s picture came from Jessica at Pics ‘n Giggles – it’s a picture of her daughter with one of the cutest expressions ever! She wrote that her face is washed out on one side, the colors are very gray and the background is distracting. Here’s the original:

In my edit, I adjusted the temperature to warm her up, and cleaned up her face by using the eye drop tool and lightly brushing over the areas of her face that were a little too bright. I also adjusted the s-curve a little, worked with the levels to darken the background and added texture. You may also notice a subtle pink overlay with a light vignette. The background on the right side may still be a little distracting, but overall, I think this is a nice vintagy revision.
