It’s been a few days since I’ve done a Before & After, and since there is not a Fix-It Friday challenge today, I thought I’d have a little editing fun on my own. Meet Keira – like many of the babies I’ve been working with lately, she is a natural beauty – I can only hope that one day my children will be so beautiful. Here is the before:
Seriously?! Do you see what I’m talking about? Gorgeous! Honestly, I already had good material to work with – making my job easy. Here’s what I did:
- Cropped at a 5×7 ratio using the good ole rule of thirds.
- Applied Coffeeshop’s Baby Powder Room to clean up her face just a little even though I love the red cheeks (I didn’t want to lose it).
- Applied Amy McMaster’s Apricot Cream and adjusted the opacity on the layers to give this wonderful creamy vintage look that I love!
- Removed just a bit of the cream layer from her eyes to make them pop, because they are too gorgeous.
- Resized and sharpened for the web.
What do you think?
