Before & After
It’s been a few days since I’ve done a Before & After, and since there is not a Fix-It Friday challenge today, I thought I’d have a little editing fun on my own. Meet Keira – like many of the babies I’ve been working with lately, she is a natural beauty – I can only hope that one day my children will be so beautiful. Here is the before:

Seriously?! Do you see what I’m talking about? Gorgeous! Honestly, I already had good material to work with – making my job easy. Here’s what I did:
  1. Cropped at a 5×7 ratio using the good ole rule of thirds.
  2. Applied Coffeeshop’s Baby Powder Room to clean up her face just a little even though I love the red cheeks (I didn’t want to lose it).
  3. Applied Amy McMaster’s Apricot Cream and adjusted the opacity on the layers to give this wonderful creamy vintage look that I love!
  4. Removed just a bit of the cream layer from her eyes to make them pop, because they are too gorgeous.
  5. Resized and sharpened for the web.

What do you think?
