Fix-It Friday
It’s a “GOOD” day for Fix-it Friday. I want to wish everyone a wonderful and beautiful Easter. My husband has a few friends in town that he’ll be visiting with, we’re going to our church service tomorrow and going to visit my parents for Easter on Sunday. Then I’m back on the road bright and early Monday morning. What a weekend!

Anywho, this week’s photo comes to us from Jesse who blogs at The Lucas Zoo. This is her daughter, Violet.
Isn’t she cute? This pose gives me ideas for a photo shoot with my niece (my niece also has beautiful curls like Violet). For my edit:
  1. I first gave her a 5×7 crop.
  2. Then, I applied DP Mom’s Perfect Workflow. I removed some of the action from her eyes (I started one edit of this photo and forgot to remove the action from her eyes…as a result, I completely lost the gentle color of her beautiful eyes and didn’t want to lose it again).
  3. I then ran Coffeeshop’s Baby Powder Room. In small doses, it helped me lighten some of the dark areas of her face, heal a spot on her arm and leg, and pop her eyes.
  4. I used the healing tool to heal her pants – she has a few areas that need to be cleaned up.
  5. Then, wrapped it up by adding PW’s Fresh Color action (and then lowering the opacity on all of the settings because I just wanted a little more color), and sharpening for the web (Click on the image to make it larger – I think it looks a little better than way for some reason).

Now that you’ve seen my Fix-it Friday, go check out some of the others.

For some reason, I’ve decided to retry. I went a little lighter on the saturation and I’m much happier with the results. The only thing I could have done more of is cloning out the background – but why change this little girl’s room?  I don’t really expect anyone to comment, but I did want to add it back to my blog.
