Simplicity: Selfie
Faith, over at Simplicity, sent me an email last week.
  1. To tell me that I won last week’s challenge: REST.
  2. To ask if I would be a guest mentor during her Summer Photography Class.
Can I just tell you that she made my week, my month, my year with those two things. I heart you Faith! So, if you’re looking for an inexpensive photography course, I encourage you to sign up now…it’s open for another week, I think.

This week’s challenge is SELFIE (aka Self-Portrait). I have often admired self-portrait artists such as Miss Aniela and Rosie Hardy. Their work is absolutely incredible. I don’t even know how I would set up such shots, but one of these days, I’m going to experiment. In the meantime, I thought I’d share a couple of shots (I hope you’re not getting tired of my compulsive blogging today…I still have a Before & After to share for Touch Up Tuesday).

This first one was taken during Christmas. I was so excited to have my new camera that I was all over the places trying different compositions. This one in particular is an all time favorite. Look – there are four of me.

This next one is your standard bathroom self-portrait. I think I have two shots like this taken on the same day. I must have been feeling fabulous…or maybe I was just excited to own a 50 mm lens?
