It’s been a while since I’ve participated in an I Heart Faces weekly photo challenge… and I know I just shared this photo in as part of my Scavenger Hunt Sunday items, but this week’s theme is “Over My Head,” and it’s so appropriate and current. This photo is also perfectly appropriate for The Paper Mama‘s challenge this week: action! With that said, I’m happy to re-post this picture.
My husband now tells me that my niece is wearing her mother’s shirt from when they were children (my husband’s family has been going to the same beach for close to 30 years). We were throwing a ball back and forth when she started to get silly and threw the ball straight up – I encouraged her to keep doing it so I could grab my camera. So, in this case, although you can’t see it, there is a ball over her head! I love her beautiful ringlet curls…as a girl with straight hair, I’m seriously jealous!
