This has been a busy week…well not so much a busy week, but I had a busy weekend. So, I haven’t done as much shooting during the week because I spent most of that time editing pictures from the weekend. Then, I look over at my planner (because I’m that dorky girl that has reverted back to a daily planner to keep track of all of my photography challenges) and see that the You Capture theme this week is “play.”
Well, to me…that says play, but the idea of You Capture is to capture a fresh photo to fit the theme and not pull a photo out of your archive.
So, I started thinking about play, and what I might be able to accomplish by myself – since I had no one else to play with (and get your minds out of the gutter people). Before we got married…before I started this blog, I used to waste a lot of time on Facebook. Sure, Facebook is a great tool to reconnect old friends, but it really is a time drain. There were two applications that occupied my time: Beweled Blitz and Farm Town. I closed down my “farm” a while ago because I wasn’t quite sure what I was trying to accomplish by adding points, farm equipment, etc…but, if I’m ever really bored and need something to do, I’ll occasionally pull up Bejeweled Blitz for a few minutes. So, I did just that last night…except I DID NOT play the game after taking the photo.
