I’ve passed this small barn many a time on one of the country roads by our house, but I’ve never taken the time to stop and photograph it. However, the moment we turned on the road…all I could see was an old postcard and I quickly told my husband to stop – I just love when I have a vision of the final product like that. It’s amazing how everything looks so quiet and peaceful covered in snow.

In case you’re wondering, yesterday was wonderful and miserable at the same time. I was terribly congested but enjoyed being with family. I tried to keep some distance from my niece and nephew (even though I just wanted to love on them) so I didn’t get them sick. My husband tells me that today is a coughing day. Either way, I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year.
