Alright everyone… It’s TIME!
Time for Love Letters to Kitty Paw {a Photo Challenge}!

For those of you that don’t know me as well, I don’t have any children…yet. But, I do have one very special cat named Kitty Paw. {A brief history…my parents brought a sweet little black and white kitty home when I entered college…she was meant to go to my Grandma (my Grandma has had tuxedo cats for as long as I can remember), but my mom fell in love. –we got another cat for Grandma (she named her Baby Girl). I don’t know how she earned the name Kitty Paw, but it stuck. Several years later, I was graduating from college and moving into my first place. I felt sorry for Kitty Paw…she was so clearly an “only child,” and unfortunately, she had to share a lot of attention with two other dogs and another cat. I politely asked if she could come home with me, and the rest is history!}
Kitty Paw has since become quite a character here at Ramblings and Photos. She’s chased Zhu Zhu pets, done interviews and dressed up for every season (Paw Humbug and Happy New Year).

Anyways…a few weeks ago, my friend Emily and I were chatting online…I dare say, while watching American Idol. We were both finishing up our Valentine’s Day cards for the Paper Mama challenge, and she couldn’t wait to share her card with me. Within minutes, I had an email from Emily with the image below. It was Kitty Paw’s very first Valentine’s Day card (from Bentley, Emily’s cat)…but not her first “love letter.”

You see, Kitty Paw actually received her very first “love letter” several months ago from Ruari. Ruari’s mother, THE PAPER MAMA, sent me this card out of the blue…so if you ever get tired of seeing Kitty Paw, blame her – she encourages me!
Therefore, in the spirit of love (and seeing how it’s February and so close to Valentine’s Day), “Love Letters to Kitty Paw” was born. Here’s what you need to know:
The Rules (inspired by The Paper Mama):
The Rules (inspired by The Paper Mama):

- You need to be the creator! I’m sorry: you can’t have someone else create it for you. Please use your own design.
- Your “letter” can be digitally made or handcrafted, but should include a photo (could be your pet, children, yourself, etc.)
- A blog post (with a photo of your “Love Letter to Kitty Paw”) will need to be linked to the linky below to be entered into the challenge.
- One entry per person.
- PG please. Maybe PG-13… Let’s keep things family friendly.
- I do have the right to delete or disqualify any entrant if I feel it doesn’t follow the rules.
- You can link up your photo through February 23rd, 2011 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time.
- Top 10 winners (unless you guys happen to surprise me and we get 100 entries) will be chosen by a panel of judges and me…then voted on by all of you. Voting will start on February 25th, 2011 and will end on February 28th, 2011 11:59 PM EST.
