Last weekend, I met up with Sarah (NapTime MomTog), Casey (One Day at a Time) and Shannon (Living with the Lowrys). And what do four photographers do when they get together? They set up the tripod and start taking pictures!
I brought my tripod and remote trigger just in case we decided we wanted a picture together. As it turns out, taking pictures of ourselves was about the only thing we wanted to do…and we had a blast.

I mentioned that this week’s Selfie Saturday theme was “idea,” and that we were supposed to execute a creative idea. After getting our typical smiley shot out of the way, we decided to go with “the blank stare.” I kinda look like I’m going to cut Sarah.
Then we decided to go for a goofy shot. Shannon managed to still look adorable. Meanwhile, me, Sarah and Casey were looking a bit ridiculous (actually…I’m the only one looking ridiculous – this is seriously my life story when it comes to group pictures).
Nonetheless, I had a really great time meeting up with some of my local blogging friends. Casey and Shannon literally live right down the road from me so I’m looking forward to hanging out more often! Be sure to check out their blogs if you haven’t already:
