Shoot and Edit: Week 14 – Faith SOOC
Welcome to the 14th week of Shoot and Edit: Part 1. Click HERE for all the details and upcoming prompts/themes.

This week our theme or prompt is “Faith” (this is just a suggestion, you can show us any SOOC shot).  You have until Wednesday each week to link your SOOC shot up on Jill’s blog. On Thursday, you can link up your edits with ME after following some of my tips on how to edit your shots (or just post your edit on Thursday and you can pick up my tips for next week).

I mentioned a couple of times during my weekend posts that we attended a wedding at the beach this past weekend. What better way to experience GOD! The weekend was rather dull and gloomy…we were on the edge of a rainstorm all weekend (and Saturday night it definitely poured). But, God has an incredible way of creating a perfect moment. Just an hour or so before the wedding, the sun came out to see the day. I’m sure the bride was a ball of nerves – I remember how gloomy our wedding day was (we also got married outdoors), but just like our friends…just an hour or two before the start of our wedding, the sun came out. God is GOOD!

Here’s my SOOC shot. It was actually taken yesterday morning – the calm after the storm!

I’ve got a really well exposed image this week so, with regard to editing, I want to show you how to straighten your horizon (mine is just slightly tilted – not a big deal, but I’ll still show you), as well as discuss how to add text to an image. If you have any suggestions, let me know. Next week’s theme is “Easter.” With that said, be sure to check out other “Faith” SOOC shots at:
Have a great Monday!
